Neil: The new iPhone & iPod Touch optimised site is live, and I'm really enjoying it so far. The mobile Nurphy experience is completely different without the need to zoom in & out. How's it working out for you, @Paul?

paul: It makes a huge difference. I'm certainly finding myself more likely to check the site on my iPhone now it's that much easier. Have you had any further thoughts now it's been live for a couple of days?

Neil: @paul, same for me; in fact I'm nearly addicted to checking Nurphy on my iPhone when I'm out and about. There's room for a few more tweaks to the CSS (form elements, landing page), but maybe we can come back to those once the current changes have settled in. Have you seen http://cssiphone.com/?

Neil: Hi @Paul, I'm just on the way to social media cafe. @documentally is working some magic again, hopefully it's all running smoothly for new visitors. I'm posting from the iPhone web interface, but 3g keeps dropping out - I can't get enurph.

Neil: @paul, thanks for deploying the new 'People' button in the main menu, and the search box within. I bet within a few days we'll be wondering how we ever did without it.

paul: @Neil I've also just deployed the changes to the Start a Conversation form we've been working on. Hopefully that should make starting a conversation a little smoother.

Neil: @paul, it's working well so far, and the privacy settings are much clearer now. Talking of new features; the new message 'Send' button is better than the Windows 3.1 look I handcrafted before.

Neil: Hi, @Paul. Further to a point by @ihatemornings regarding broken links in a Twitter client, I just started a public conversation for our big dilemma with asterisks in conversation URLs: *w67urh

Neil: @paul, I'm enjoying the new (new) message count that pops up in the browser tab title when you leave a conversation open and someone posts something new. Very handy. Here's a screenshot: http://bit.ly/1gSEyT
And the featured conversation with the Like Minds experts & speakers is going well. Here's the link http://Nurphy.com/*wou1fu. Do you think the Nurphy community will be interested in commentary from social media experts (without hashtags or 140 char limits)?

Neil: @paul, I'm enjoying the new 'fork a conversation' feature. It's fun to go off topic when you have a conversation linking system http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bq33jZ6m2Rk
And now we have real-time 'about X minutes ago' in messages, it's hard to see how we did without it.

Neil: Hi @Paul, Happy New Year (and to the *Nurphy http://Nurphy.com/Nurphy followers, too).
I published a blog post on a New Year's Resolution that lots of people could stick to: http://nurphy.posterous.com/ (it's a new Nurphy Blog). The festive season made me realise how Nurphy makes it easier & more fun to keep in touch with people, especially across different time zones. Email isn't pretty, I don't like the way that Instant Messaging is...well...instant-only, and social network profiles incriminate everyone via photo taggings. But Nurphy is working quite nicely with my family, colleagues, and friends in places like Thailand & China (no more disjointed email and IM conversations!).
And I can't wait to release those new features we've just been talking about; I think we'll become attached to them rather quickly.
p.s. Do you think we should do blog post on how we approached the new landing page (as seen here http://nurphy.posterous.com/)? Maybe it'll be of interest to other website owners...
